Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

I’m coming in a little early, but hey, I live in Australia. It’s already Thanksgiving over here. lol
I hope you all have a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday. More than that, I hope you count your blessings as I’m doing, even though we don’t celebrate Thanks giving in Australia. So what am I thankful for?
First and foremost, no matter where I am in life or career, I’m thankful for my family. Without them I am nothing. A husband of 37 years who is my best friend. Two wonderful children and their partners who love those children dearly. A wonderful grandson who is just the most beautiful child, despite the fact he suffers from Autism Spectrum Disorder. “I’m not broke, Nannie, I’m just different.” What a blessing this child is.
Then good friends. Where would I be without my friends? Readers who “get” my stories. So many terrific people I’ve connected with via the internet. Of course, if I didn’t have to run a motel that takes up my writing time then life would be even more wonderful. lol But hey, despite that, I’m grateful that in this uncertain economic climate that we can survive. There are a lot of people out there struggling and my heart goes out to them. It makes me count my blessings even more.
So this Thanksgiving Day I’m holding my friends and family close and thanking God for all his blessings.
What makes you happy this Thanksgiving?

No Thanksgiving for us here in NZ either, but I think it’s always good to take stock. Like you, I’m blessed with a wonderful husband who really gets me. That’s one of the many things I’m thankful for.

Hey Alexis,
I tried sending you an email via your contact form but it sent a failed msg to my inbox because yours is full…so here’s what I wanted to say…
I wanted to let you know that I received your package. Thank you so
much for all the goodies…I had so much fun exploring the contents of
the package and your t-shirt has joined the ranks of my cosy comfy
reading tee collection.
Happy Reading!!!
Sincerely,
Anna

Sorry you couldn’t get through to me. I suspect it was more because I’ve been having internet issues rather than it being full. I tried to send a message out and it told me it was full and I knew nothing was in there. But I’m so glad your parcel arrived safely.
